AT&T has an Apple a Day

It seems that map wars and slogan brawls aren’t necessary when numbers and facts are involved. CNNMoney.com named AT&T’s mobile service the nation’s largest Wi-Fi network. As AT&T customers surf the web, check work and/or personal e-mails, download tunes and movies on the go, AT&T has reached more than 85 million total connections in 2009 alone.

Being the current sole provider of the beloved Apple iPhone, AT&T added 2 million more loyal customers under their belt. I’m sure the iPhone, along with the other AT&T smart phones was a huge asset to the increase of Wi-Fi connections. With Apple and AT&T, two domineering and forceful conglomerates, their relationship is predicted to endure.

As the prophesy continues, Apple unveiled the newest gadget of 2010 on January 27th, the iPad. AT&T is sticking by Apple continuing its services for the iPad as their main network. Although Verizon’s network has vastly improved, AT&T has the advantage of 20,000 hotspots in the U.S. -  including McDonalds and Starbucks -  and I know we are all aware of how many there are in the U.S… A LOT!

AT&T’s Wi-Fi service is becoming the most highly recommended provider because of its useful, convenient and speedy connection to the Internet universe. Although there have been numerous complaints concerning the iPhone and its AT&T 3G network, you should be happy to hear that they’ve been listening and have been undertaking the errors to improve their weak points in several cities. So don’t give up just yet! Look forward to the boom of iPad fever and see how significantly AT&T takes over the world.
